Abstract : The Journal of Retailing is a renowned peer-reviewed and journal of international repute in the field of retailing research since 1993 that publishes only original and quality conceptual, empirical and review research papers contributing to the advancement of the body of knowledge and its application in the field of retailing. So far 880 papers (including 839 articles, 26 editorials, 8 notes, 5 short surveys and 2 reviews) were published in this journal between 1993 and 2020. All these documents have been analysed using bibliometric technique to examine the impactful of the journal, most influential authors and their contributions in the field of retailing research. The analysis of co-authorships among the top authors, co-occurrences of the topics, co-citations of the journals, bibliographic coupling of the authors, affiliating institutes and countries were analysed by applying network analysis technique using VOSviewer software. The advancement of research in the field of retailing during last decade is also discussed and highlighted for understanding the recent developments in the field of retailing research.
