Abstract : Unusual purchase behavior was reported among consumers across the globe for products like face masks, toilet papers, disinfectors, hand sanitizers, etc. during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. However, this behavior varies across the countries and regions within a country as well. Therefore, the present study examines the key determinants of customers’ purchase behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic using a qualitative research design. A focus group discussion (n=10) has been conducted following COVID-19 protocol strictly. The findings of the study offer several interesting insights about customers’ purchase behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic.
