Abstract : This study examines how important entrepreneurship is to the goal of creating a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). The pursuit of global economic dominance by India necessitates the emergence of entrepreneurship as a vital catalyst for innovation, employment generation, and equitable economic progress. The article explores the ways in which entrepreneurial endeavours are promoting technological improvements, addressing social concerns, and aiding in the country's economic development. Through an examination of prosperous case studies and government programs like "Digital India" and "Startup India," the study emphasises the mutually beneficial connection between entrepreneurship and the advancement of the nation. It also looks at the difficulties Indian entrepreneurs confront, such as the lack of finance, red tape, and the requirement for skill development. In order to put India on the path of becoming a developed country, the essay ends with policy proposals for improving the entrepreneurship climate. The research highlights the transformative potential that entrepreneurship has in creating a wealthy and inclusive Viksit Bharat when viewed through this perspective.
