Abstract : The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of workforce diversity on the morale of faculty members in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Data was retrieved from a target population of 400 faculty members from different universities using a structured questionnaire in a descriptive and causal research design. A multistage sampling technique was utilized which ensured that the sample was representative of the larger population. Receptivity to diversity, equal representation, hiring and retaining diverse employees, and promotion of gender diversity were the measured indicators of workforce diversity. Employee morale was calculated concerning these dimensions and assessed through multiple regression analysis. As hypothesized, the model had strong explanatory power (R=0.787; R²=0.620), indicating that out of the four predictors, all significantly affected employee morale, with diversity receptivity having the largest among them. This study illustrated how disregarding inclusive practices and equity in organizational culture negatively impacts HEIs and employs- in this case, the academic staff’s morale has a critical to severe degree.
